The Department for International Trade Recognises Percussion Play Amid Record Sales
Following the 2021 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, in acknowledgment of its outstanding growth in overseas sales over the past three years, Percussion Play is proud to announce that its co-founder has been chosen to champion international trade.
Robin Ashfield, who Co-Founded Percussion Play over 13 years ago, has been invited to become an Export Champion by the Department for International Trade (DIT) primarily due to the company's continued success in exporting worldwide.
Robin, Sales & Marketing Director, comments on the appointment, “Being recognized for our work in flying the flag for UK-made products is a testament to our drive over the last year 13 years to building a truly international business. As the world leader in the manufacture of outdoor musical instruments, I hope to inspire and support other SME businesses like us to become world-leading in their sector too.”
As Export Champion, Robin will support DIT’s ambition to inspire and encourage more UK SMEs to export for the first time or expand their existing international sales. The campaign aims to help British companies realize their export potential, ensuring they are aware of the benefits of selling overseas and the wide range of export support that DIT offers.
