Welcome to the team Kyle Recreation Inc.

This autumn we were delighted to wish new distributor Kim Edwards Kyle and her team at Kyle Recreation, Inc. a very warm welcome to the Percussion Play family.

Kyle Recreation will be offering our entire range of outdoor musical instruments and we're convinced that their expertise and existing portfolio will fit well with our innovative musical play equipment. Kim started Kyle Recreation, Inc. back in 2000 having previously gained seven years experience in the play industry working for her Father, a Little Tikes Rep. Kim tells us "I enjoy the process of building a play space for all ages. My degree is in music education and so Percussion Play and the way in which they bring percussion and music-making to the outdoor world appeals to my heart. I can use these instruments in my designs to draw children and adults together on the playground and I love how they are truly inclusive and multi-generational."

Beaver Dam Rotary Keeps the Music Coming

The Beaver Dam Rotary has recently expanded the number of outdoor musical instruments located along the Riverwalk Park by adding a colourful set of Rainbow Sambas and tall Tubular Bells - making it even more appealing to music makers, solace seekers and strollers of all ages.

The idea for the popular Riverwalk music trail began when the Beaver Dam Rotary Club decided to add a park, beautify a space and create a gathering place for young and old alike. Beaver Dam residents Judy and Tom Heffron stepped up with an idea to add dimension and creative play to the site. Judy Heffron, a musician with the Beaver Dam area Orchestra and a former music teacher for the Beaver Dam School District had always wanted outdoor instruments in the community.

“When we read that Rotary was creating a park downtown, we loved the idea because that is where we live,” Judy Heffron said. “The outdoor musical instruments just seemed to be a great fit because of the space available. Having been an elementary...
